"The True Essence of Christmas"

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas.!! What comes into your mind when you hear the word CHRISTMAS ??? For me, its all about LOVE, CARE, SHARING, GIVING, and FORGIVENESS..I already feel the cool breeze of the air. This day is very important because in the 25th day of December, our Lord Jesus Christ was born. One activity done in this month is that "simbang gabi". And some people sacrifices their self to woke up early just to go in the church.

Christmas has been acclaimed as the most meaningful festivity of the year, regardless of types of religion. Christmas spells the coming of Jesus Christ. With be coming then, God sent Him to redeem us. But most of all, He was sent to shower virtues which are so simple yet could save the sinful world. For me, Christmas goes with Love. Love-the root of all virtues-from the ardent love come our Salvation.

Christmas is also the time for FORGIVENESS. We have to forgive those people who have sinned. Time also for sharing what we have but let us all be reminded that in sharing we must share on our part not the excess of what we have. Love other people as we love our self.

Let us all enjoy the True Essence of Christmas..Merry Christmas to all and have a Prosperous New Year.:)

Filipino-Values month celebration

November is past. In every month, there is a celebration tha are done in our school ISNHS. Last november is that Filipino-values month celebration with the theme: Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon. There are many activities done in this month. Like the poster-making contest, tagisan ng talino, kite flying contest, cookfest, sayawit and many more. In sayawit, we are the one contestant and we are the one who got the champion but we exceeded 5 seconds because the maximum time is only 6 minutes. The judges ask Mr. Tadena if they are going to disqualify us but Mr. Tadena sais that they are going to deduct from our grades sothat it will not be hurt from us. Our grade will deducted so we get only the 3rd one, but we thankful because they did not disqualify us.

My Insights for the Second Grading Period

Life goes on. We are learning more things because teachers are generous in sharing their knowledge to us. It is very grateful that as days passes by, we are learming fast and additional knowledge is what we are gathering in our school.

In my second grading period, many experiences that I have encounter. in my TLE (ICT IV), we have no discussions but it is full of activities. I know that our subject is very easy but when we do our activities, it is difficult because its not like what we learn for the past and last grading period. We learn how to create tags, HTML, notepad and etc. In this grading period, I experienced difficulty when we took our examination and as I said it is because we have a lack time for our discussions. But even if it happened like that I am very proud cause our teacher is still there to guide us even if she was busy that time.

I hope that this next grading period, I have a lot of things that I encounter and I hope its not like with our past lessons/activities sothat more knowledge will come into our mind.

My Teacher, My Hero

Amidst the community of human kind

She always hoped that she will find-

Student that serious, who can understand

Behavior, further attitude was unexplained.

But the patient is always with her,

Never the less she want everybody may gain

Knowledge, education which parents are dreaming-

Only a little girl take into a futile.

She never give up even she can't talk clearly

In every pen landed for it,

She didn't take for granted.

I realized My Teacher, My Hero.

The simple smile yet student will just snob,

As I reminisced, her sacrifice in every discussion.

Her innocent and friendly face dedicated in her work,

That was MY TEACHER, MY HERO.

"How Can I Protect Our Nature"

As a clubber, how can I develop or improve our Nation? But I have the right to say to my fellow clubber that they will not do bad things that can affect to our Mother Earth beacause we are the one who are affected, why? because if we do things that can affect to our Mother Earth, it will cause Greenhouse Effect.
The things that I can say to my fellow clubber are the following: Do not use Dynamites in fishing, do not cut trees in the forest, we are going to segregate biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste materials and others. Cutting trees is one of them because when we cut trees and were not going to change it, there are so many causes that are done like FLOODS, LANDSLIDE, TSUNAMI'S and Others. Were also going to segregate biodegradable and non-biodegradable because we know that the carbon-dioxide that come from our waste materials are going in the air and if this carbon-dioxide are trapped, the Mother Earth will affected and it will cause Greenhouse Effect.
One Nature is very important because almost of our needs are coming from one Nature. We should do the 3R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). We should take care and protect our Mother Earth from pollution so that the next generation will see the beauty of the World.

Filipino Dialect: From Baler to Entire Philippines

Our country Phillipines is composed of 7,107 islands, there are different dialects or languages and also different culture. Its Aim is to have a National Identity and because of this, a National Language was formed.

There are so many language that are used here in thePhilipines. To name some of this language are Iloco, Tagalog, Cebuano, Pangasinense and others. Now a days, there are also Pilipinos that are not familiar to our language filipino because we are only living in one conutry and also, we are all having different language that's why there are some Pilipino people that could hardly understand each other. We Pilipino's should patronize first to our own language/ dialect before learning the different languages of other conutry.

We should give love, importance, patronize and be proud of our own language. "Sinumang di Marunong Magmahal sa ating Wika ay Mabaho pa sa Malansang Isda" as Dr. Jose Rizal said.

"Learnings and Discoveries"

In my fourth year life as student in TLE subject, I have learned a lot of things especially new technologies. We have learned about using the computer, how to use or manipulate the Internet, Yahoo and the History of Internet. We have also learned how to create blog.
Only there are also problems/challenges that I have encountered. At first, I can also hard-up in manipulating with the learning introduced to us by our teachers.
But in this challenges, I make me strong enough to find my way on how I can get along these discoveries that I have learned.
Proving on these learnings and discoveries, I can now stand alone to say that I'm already on the modern way of life with all the new technologies that can move up my life to become progressive and to be a good citizenry.
